Welcome to Colindale Primary School.

Colindale is a large, vibrant and wonderfully diverse school, but what makes us special is the strong sense of community at the heart of everything we do. We want every child who comes through our doors to feel that they belong here, that they are known and valued, and that they can achieve great things.

We are ambitious for our children. We want them to develop a love of learning, to be curious and confident, and to leave us with the knowledge, skills and experiences they need for the next stage of their lives. We have high expectations, but we also understand that every child is different. Our staff work hard to ensure that children receive the support, encouragement and challenge they need to flourish.

Inclusion is at the heart of Colindale. Our children and families come from many different backgrounds, cultures and faiths, and more than 40 languages are spoken across our school community. We are incredibly proud of this diversity. We want our children to learn from one another, to celebrate what makes each of us unique and to grow up understanding the importance of kindness, respect and looking after one another.

We also believe that primary school should be about more than what happens in the classroom. We want our children to have rich experiences, discover new interests, develop their talents and make happy memories along the way.

Visitors often comment on the warmth of our school, the calm and purposeful atmosphere and the confidence and friendliness of our children.
